The Dunes is located on the tip of the Gulf Shores Peninsula offering guests equal access to either the Gulf of Mexico or Mobile Bay. We are nestled between the historic Fort Morgan and the Dunes neighborhood which features million dollar homes. If you are searching for a nice, quiet, very clean vacation home with easy access to all the fun things to do while you're on Pleasure Island, you will love The Dunes. We are only 25 minutes west of the heart of Gulf Shores on Fort Morgan Parkway.
We offer three different accommodations in The Dunes Community: a one, two, or three bedroom condominium in The Dunes; a one, two or three bedroom condominium in The Indies; or a 3-7 bedroom house ranging from gulf front to gulf view.
Our development is beautiful and new!! All units have full kitchens, washer and dryer and private balconies which face the Gulf of Mexico!
The condos are set back from the Gulf about three-hundred yards. How far is that? To most guys, it equals three football fields. To most ladies, it is about the same distance as department store to department store in an average mall. This distance provides a breath-taking panoramic view of the Gulf. To access our private beach, our guests walk down a quiet sidewalk to the boardwalk or request a ride on our limousine golf cart (during peak season)!
We are surrounded by water and golf courses. Several courses are nearby; all offering a different degree of difficulty and representing different price ranges. We are across the street from a marina which also offers charter fishing trips. You can fish in the Bay, the Gulf or even from our beach. It's your choice!
One of the largest shopping outlet centers in the South East region is a quick 40 minute drive away. Tanger Factory Outlet offers The Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Calvin Klein, etc. If shopping is not your ideal way to spend a sunny day, we also have a terrific Beach Service which offers beach activities during our spring/summer season. Whether you choose to spend your day fishing, golfing, lying on the beach or just sunning by the pool, your vacation at The Dunes is sure to be one you'll remember pleasantly.
